The Wavetrac LSD, designed by Wavetrac for ShepTrans, addresses the risk of rear case or differential failure caused by the factory LSD’s limitations. Engineered by Autotech Driveline in the USA, Wavetrac differentials are advanced helical gear systems that uniquely prevent wheelspin under low or zero-axle load conditions. Unlike other torque-biasing differentials, the Wavetracs cam mechanism generates internal load, ensuring continuous drive to the gripping wheel rather than behaving like an open diff. Constructed with durable 9310 alloy steel gears inside case-hardened steel housings and secured by ARP fasteners, each Wavetrac LSD also includes a transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty for peace of mind.
